Age Restrictions
Age for equipment hire is 8+ and all under 18's must be accompanied by an adult(Adults do not need to be on the water but do need to remain within sight and sound of the users)
Safety Notes
All hires include buoyancy aids that must be worn at all times. Wetsuit hire is £3pp with wetsuit shoe hire £2pp.Full safety briefings will be given to users before any activities take place with all necessary safety equipment provided. All staff are trained in first aid, safeguarding, recovering users and their equipment. Staff have VHF radios to call for immediate assistance in the event of emergencies.
Maximum Numbers
Shoreline tours are available for groups of up to 6 people. Paddle Boards and Single Sit-On Tops are for single person use with Tandem Kayaks holding 2 persons.Paddle board hire can accommodate up to 10 people per group booking. We have 6 kayaks and 2 tandem kayaks available, so up to 10 people for a group kayak booking.
Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds will only be offered if 48hrs notice is given or if weather and/or sea conditions make it unsafe to offer activities.In this instance another date/session will be offered but where this is not possible to be accepted then a full refund will be given. Users may be advised to use a different craft to one they have booked by MBAC staff to ensure that their experience is a positive as possible, i.e. Kayaks may be more suitable than paddle boards on slightly 'choppy' water.
Waiver Agreement
Required for ALL bookings. This takes place at the checkout stage.A digital signature/acknowledgement to confirm that you have read and agree with the terms of booking. Proof of ID must be presented when attending the premises on the day of your booking.
